I don’t think The Cowsills have quite gotten to the over-the-hill stage of their career as yet, but when a company like M-G-M puts out an LP entitled “The Best of The Cowsills”, it’s apparent someone is pushing a panic button. At any rate, the title is not at all misleading: this one includes such goodies as “Indian Lake”, “We Can Fly”, “The Rain, the Park, and Other Things”, and “In Need of a Friend”. Don’t consign this fine group to the scrap heap yet.
