Q - Was the Cowsills' father ever part of the act when they first began appearing on TV? I have a bet with a friend that he was part of the act and played a banjo or something. My friend says no - P.S., Davis, Calif.
A - The Cowsills never had dear old dad in the group. He is the group's manager but he is not a performer.
