With the Cowsills, a group of singers at SPAC this summer, interest in Tony Romeo's song "Indian Lake," which the group features, has been aroused once more. With Indian Lakes in Pennsylvania and Utah, there has been some question what lake songwriter, Tony Romeo, had in mind. According to Romeo it is the Indian lake in Hamilton County, so that body of water joins Lake George by being immortalized in song. Remember when the late Tedd Browne did his musical portrait of Lake George, a somewhat more ambitious undertaking than the current tune in the news.
