Grammy Award-winner Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience will take the stage at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 12, in the Central School Arts & Humanities Center Theater, 809 Kirby St.
The Louisiana Crossroads concert also features singer-songwriter Susan Cowsill.

Susan Cowsill is the youngest member of the family band the Cowsills. She made her debut in 1967 at the age of 7 on the album "We Can Fly." She was 9 when the group hit the Top 10 with "Indian Lake" in the summer of 1968.
The group - which was the real-life inspiration behind the "The Partridge Family" television show - had hits with "Hair" and "The Rain, the Park and Other Things (Flower Girl)."
Cowsill retired at the age of 12, but she was soon performing again as a backup singer and then again with family members.
She permanently re-located to New Orleans in the 1990s where she was a member of the Continental Drifters. The band produced five albums over a 10-year period.
As a solo artist, Cowsill focuses on Americana music. She released her first solo album, "Just Believe It," in 2005
Cowsill lost her home and belongings, including Cowsills memorabilia, to Hurricane Rita (Note: that should say Katrina) in 2005. Her song, "Crescent City Snow," became an anthem for Katrina survivors.
