Charleston, Ill. - A concert by The Cowsills, the family pop music group, will be one of the features of Parents' Weekend at Eastern Illinois University on Sept. 19 and 20.
The Cowsills, who record for MGM, will perform on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. in the Lantz Building.

In June of 1967 The Cowsill reached the national level of music with their first MGM album which contained the million-seller "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things."
Mother Barbara joined her sons in that album and daughter Susan was a participant in the "We Can Fly" album. Other records by the family include "Captain Sad and his Ship of Fools," "The Best of the Cowsills."
