Robert and Mary-Jo Cowsill of Woodland Hills, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Marie Cowsill, to Dean Capparelle Jr., of Woodland Hills, son of Dean and Lou-Ann Capparelle of Cos Cob.
The future bride received her bachelor's degree in graphic design from Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. She is a freelance graphic designer.
Capparelle earned his bachelor's degree in administration of justice from Salve Regina University. He is assistant manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car at Burbank Airport in Burbank, Calif.
An October wedding is planned.
