Four Middletown youths, who have performed in the Newport area and throughout New England in the past year, have signed contracts as recording artists and song writers. They are the Cowsills - Bill 17, Bob 15, Barry 10 and John 9, sons of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Cowsill of 611 Indian Avenue. There are three other children in this talented family, making this a family circle of seven, plus mom and dad. Mom of this tribe is the former Barbara Russell of Cranston, who looks so ridiculously young you could hate her. Their contract is with Joda Enterprises of New York, a production company headed by Johnny Nash, nationally known entertainer. They all sing and play guitar and drums. Bill and Bob are the songwriters. They are booked to play at Brown University this month and in May. (To the Cowsills, a happy success.)
