Continental Drifters. Comprised of Peter Holsapple of the dB's, Vicki Peterson of The Bangles, Susan Cowsill of The Cowsills, Mark Walton of Dream Syndicate and two other musicians, the Drifters pounded out a sterling set of material that sometimes sounded like The Band, sometimes like Gram Parsons, sometimes like Mike Nesmith. But it all sounded good.
