In lives such as the Cowsills lead, alot is always destined to happen - but it seems that in the past few months, they have had more than their fair share of success, excitement and fun.

By now, they have all made the adjustment from obscurity to international fame quite smoothly. When they were getting started they had a difficult time making the necessary changes. Paul wanted to know why he "couldn't go out and play football with his friends," and Barry would ask why he couldn't go out every afternoon and run in Central Park. The answers came to them easily as they realized that like it or not — they were different.

This past summer, the Cowsills toured the U.S. playing state fairs and doing concerts. It was a hectic, non-stop summer, leaving little or no time for rest or recreation. They complained -- it would be very

unnatural if they didn't -- but they loved being on stage and they loved entertaining. It's in their blood. They are born entertainers.

It is difficult for them to make friendships with other teens because of their "gypsy type" life. As a result, their association with adults have given them a more mature outlook on life than other teens their age.

Soon they will be involved with the production of TV shows. The Cowsills have been signed for a series of TV spots.

They will appear on CBS for the Jonathan Winters Show, Operation Entertainment and two shows for Hollywood Palace. In March they will be featured in "The Wonderful World of Pzazz."

So life still remains a hectic schedule of appearances and shows for the Cowsill family.
