Patricia L. Jutras
October 16, 1958 - June 29, 2020
Patricia (Patty) was born in Framingham, MA, on October 16, 1958. She was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Alma (Lunt) Ireland. Raised in Wellesley, she was a graduate of Wellesley High School, before moving to the Cape and settling in Hyannis.
Patty is predeceased by her daughter Adria, brothers Michael, Brian and William Ireland and her grandson Jordan Galvin-Jutras. In addition to John, Patricia is survived by her adored children; sons Stephen and Jose Jutras both of Hyannis, MA and daughter Ruby Watkins of Minneapolis, MN; her dear siblings; Karen Leshinski and Deborah Farley both of Hyannis, MA; Stephen Ireland of Winchester, NH and Caitlin McNamara of Centerville, MA. Her cherished grandchildren also survive her: David, Lillyanna, Alyssa, Janea, Arthur, Kaileigh, Jared, Jaren and Alyanna. Patricia also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Patty truly adored her family, and took every chance she could to joke and laugh with the kids, whether in the neighborhood, or nieces, nephews and grandkids. She had a special way of making us smile and feel loved and seen, even in hard times. She loved music, her cats, and good food. Despite recent brain surgery to remove a tumor, Patty never for a second lost her goofy sense of humor, or her hope. She fought bravely and with a smile, like she did in everything else.
With STRICT adherence to COVID-19 health precautions and social distancing rules, family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday July 10, 2020 from 9:00 am -10:30 am at Doane, Beal and Ames, 160 West Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601. A Funeral mass will follow 11 am at Our Lady of Victory, 230 South Main St, Centerville, MA 02632. Patricia will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley, MA.
