Lori grew up in Silver Spring, MD. She and her brother Jeff shared a love of music, especially the Beach Boys and the Cowsills. Lori was a loyal and dedicated friend - throughout her childhood, college, and graduate school, she developed lifelong friendships that she always treasured. After receiving her MBA, she worked in marketing research at Ernst & Whinney and Marroitt before starting a family.
She was a loving mother who always wanted the best for her children (and her cats - Joe, Jupiter, and Mercury). She also was an avid reader, and she shared her love of reading with her children, her book club friends, and the community at the Country Bookshop in Southern Pines.
