Below are video captures from the TV airing of the CNN's 4th Special. There were no good shots of John and he didn't sing any leads. You could clearly hear him doing the backing "Girls, girls, girls, yeah I dig the girls" part of "California Girls" and you could hear him doing the count off for "Sloop John B." Songs performed were: "God Only Knows," "California Girls," "Sloop John B" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice." A full length video of the show on youtube shows John coming down front to sing backing vocals on a couple songs and doing "Darlin'" while back on drums.
