Wisner To Exit As Col's A&R Topper

Jimmy Wisner, Columbia Records' east coast pop music artists & repertoire topper since last fall, will resign from the diskery July 15 and return to indie producing, arranging and batoning. He also is setting up a new record firm and pub operation in New York.

Wisner joined Col 14 months ago as a staff producer after hit indie work with such artists as The Cowsills, Tommy James & The Shondells, and Len Barry. . . .
