A suit for $260,000 damages was filed last week in N.Y. Supreme Court by Leonard Stogel & Associates as well as several of his subsidiary firms against business management firm of Neil C. Reshen & Co. Stogel, along with Greg Yale, Inc., Akbestal Music Inc., Heroic Age Publicity Inc. and Country Wide Tours, allege that the Reshen firm "wilfully converted to their own use a substantial portion of the monies collected by them on behalf of each of the plainiffs."

The Stogel firms ask actual damages in the amount of $65,000 and exemplary damages at $195,000. Defendant firm had not filed answers at Variety presstime.

The suit also claims that Reshen's company failed to perform the services required under its agreements with the plaintiffs and its clients, and failed to properly account to each of the plaintiffs. The Reshen firm was retained by Stogel to be a business manager for Stogel and several clients including The Cowsills, Boyce & Hart, Lee Michaels, and Tommy James & The Shondells.
