UF Drive Reaches 63 Per Cent of Goal

The Cowsills furnished the “giddy-up” from the Long, Tall Texan hit song, but workers for the Dallas County United Fund supplied the punch Tuesday, with $4,467,709 collected for the UF.

Adding impetus to the drive, in addition to the giddy-up inspiration from the Cowsill family singing group from Rhode Island, was a record set already by University Computing Co. (UCC) and a message from Dallas Chamber of Commerce )President Morris Hite.
