Dwight Twilley plays infrequent live shows these days but when he does, the local power pop music die hard fans are right there in the crowd.

He's even flying in singers Susan Cowsill, who sang for several years with Twilley's band and backed on such tunes as "Girls." Cowsill, of course, was the youngest of seven children - and the only girl - in a musical family that became the hitmaking band the Cowsills ("The Rain, the Park, and Other Things," "Hair"). The Cowsills also will forever remembered as the group that inspired the Partridge Family.
"She's a fabulous singer and a great harmonist," Twilley said. "She'll be stepping in on a few key songs, so it'll be authenic."
