Billy plays Boney – one fo the best casting decisions ever on the part of CTV’s Lonesome Dove (tonight at 9 p.m. on CHEK and Saturday at 10 p.m. on BCTV).
Billy Cowsill, frontman for the currently reforming Blue Shadows, takes on the role of sinister sidekick to a “ruthless arms dealer” in tonight’s episode that comes complete with big dialogue and intensely dramatic scenes. Just remember it’s a western, and tall cowboys aren’t known to be loquacious, just mysterious. Sounds like a perfect role for Cowsill – a man who can send a chill up your spine with one Hank Williams’-inspired howl.
