He's (Peter Holsapple) also a member of the New Orleans roots-rock band the Continental Drifters, which includes his wife Susan Cowsill, former Bangle Vicki Peterson and ace guitarist Robert Mache. If all this wasn't enough, Holsapple recently released his first solo album, a vibrant and varied collection called "Out of My Way" that bounces from roadhouse rock to delicate acoustic numbers.

"I think I'm actually kind of settled into middle age," he said. "It feels really good to be a caring human being, a father (he and Cowsill have a 3-year-old daughter named Miranda), a husband and a band member in a band that isn't clamoring for the top. I've been able to get some priorities straight the past couple of years. Life is looking real good right now."
