“Specials” to span all age groups can be seen in the lineup on one night attractions to be featured in the 1970 “show season” at the Colonie Coliseum Summer Theatre at Latham.

Donald Winig, general manager, list eleven Monday night specials, three of which (The Cowsills, The Rascals and Phil Ford and Mimi Hines) were so recently contracted, that they missed listing in the Theatres newly released 1970 Brochure.

The special even series opens on June 29, at 8:30 with Procol Harem and continues through Sept. 7, when it will feature Phil Ford and Mimi Hines.

The season also includes Grand Music hall of Israel, Canned Heat, Stan Kenton Orchestra, Richie Haven, The Rascals, The Cowsills, Clancy Brothers, The Youngbloods and The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

The hit-taking MGM recording group The Cowsills whose rise from family singalong to nationally acclaimed phenomenon in the world of pop music, will appear at the Theatre on August 17.
