It isn't sophisticated or even smart to ramble on for 20 or 30 minutes about how perfect "The Rain, the Park and Other Things," released by the Cowsills in 1967, happens to be ... but I've done it many times. Once, back when I was sharing a house with a bunch of rock 'n' rollers when I was a senior in college, I did just that ... and converted a couple of Deadheads to my way of thinking.
