The Cowsills - hitless for some time - have come back with a big single in "Hair," the title tune from the off-Broadway musical which made it to the Great White Way with its six nudes. The same show also is giving the Fifth Dimension a rapid climb on the charts with the song,"Aquaris." The Cowsills do "Hair" with flair - leading off their fifth album for MGM. The album obviously was intended to be a "live" session - named "Cowsills in Concert." However, with the hit single, the proceedings were prefaced with "Hair" as the opening number. Then the family launches into the "concert." There's a lot of good Cowsills in the grooves - "Monday, Monday," "Hello, Hello," "Good Vibrations" and "Sunshine of Your Love." This should be a big one for the captivating Cowsills.
