The Cowsills remain fresh and sincere in their television appearances and in their MGM recordings, the newest album "IIxII" just released. While none of the songs sound as if they are destined to be million-sellers by any means, the collection over-all is good Cowswill. Especially listenable are "Start To Love," "Goodtime Charlie" and "Night Shift." Bob, Bill, Barry and Paul Cowsill collaborate on some of the tunes, keeping the famiy enterprise intact. The Cowsill harmony, always outstanding, is quite beautiful in "Father."
