Q. Is it true that "The Partridge Family" may be taken off the air because the Cowsills are suing ABC and Screen Gems for not getting permission from them. I think this show is wonderful and I hope it isn't taken off. - A.K.C. University, Miss.

A. This rumor is circulating around the country and our mailbag has received many letters repeating the ridiculous story. "The Partridge Family" is not in jeopardy of being cancelled due to any suit by the Cowsills. Granted, the success of the Cowsills probably inspired "The Partridge Family" TV series but that's as far a it goes.
