Two big parties this past weekend were given for the local youth. The 30th Anniversary Evening at the aquarium will benefit York School's scholarship fund and the LifeSavers Committee "We're Havin A Heat Wave" bash was given to save lives of those between the ages of 15 and 24 in association with the Suicide Prevention and Crisis Center.
Setting the mood for the guest star were the glittering "Pointless Sisters" and Barry Cowsill. Singers Lynn Bohnen, Charlie Keeley, Leslie McMillan and Michelle Noseworthy were backed by "The Midlife Crisis Band," bringing down the house with such favorites as Sentimental Journey and Heat Wave (naturally). On stage with guitars are Fred Noseworthy, Theresa and Craig Kraft and Barry. All doing their big-time best.
