Six swinging brothers, a sister, mother and father will give a sock-it-to-me start to the 1968 State Fair of Texas.

The family, known musically as the Cowsills, will present two performances daily, October 5-9, to help the fair launch its Salute to America ’68. They’ve produced such hits as “The Rain, the Park and Other Things,” “We Can Fly” and “Indian Lake.”
