Susan Cowsill sang on “Hair,” the biggest hit for the 1960s pop family group The Cowsills, when she was just 8. As an adult, she was a member of the all-star alt-pop group the Continental Drifters, and in a duo with The Bangles’ Debbi Peterson called The Psycho Sisters.
Cowsill lost two fo her singing brothers and her family was displaced when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, so it’s fitting she will headline concert for the Cause, a benefit for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
6:30 p.m. Friday, with the Todd Wolfe Band, Cunningham and Associates, students of Hawk Music, The School of Rock and The Lesson Center, and more. Musikfest Café at ArtsQuest Center. SteelStacks, Bethlehem
