There were two shows I watched recently that the Cowsills were on. Bill wasn't with the group either time. Can you explain? He hasn't quit th group, has he? - Curious Fan, Norris
There is no ready explanation for the absence of Bill Cowsill. He did appear on "A Family Thing" on Nov. 23, 1968, and on Kraft Music Hall, Jan. 29 this year. TV Mailbag does not know which shows you mean. And, from what there is known about this very dedicated family, there is no reason to think that Bill would have quit the group.
