"We don't have to worry about Nielsen ratings," laughed Barbara Cowsill, mother of the singing Cowsills family which will be featured in NBC-TV'S "A Family Thing" special to be colorcast Nov. 23. "We'll just gather all the kids around our television set," she quipped, referring to the eight musical Cowsills she and husband Bud are raising.
