They (Redd Kross) even tapped friend Susan Cowsill, whose family group The Cowsills inspired "The Partridge Family" TV show, to sing on a couple of songs.

"She has such a great voice, so when it came time to record another album, there was no way we could pass it up," Steve said. "Besides she sings so well with guys. She's been doing it all her life."
