(Let's sidetrack: In the 1960s, Garden of Eden released a single on MGM, "Flower Man." Another New England band, the Cowsills, release a single "Flower Girl" on the same label. MGM, the record label, thought Nazaretian's group would have the bigger hit and asked the Cowsills to change the name of their song. Under a new name, "The Rain, The Park and Other Thing," the Cowsills' went to No. 1 and established their fame.)
