“Superb performance and exemplary conduct in everyday lives” has focused the spotlight upon winners in a national poll of teenagers in the ninth annual Teena Awards of the Spotlighters Guild for the San.
Cosponsored this year by 16 Magazine, the awards were based on thousands upon thousands of votes from 50 states, votes tabulated by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Halpern of Leonard Glusman and Associates, certified public accountants.
Scene of the event was the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton-Universal Hotel, overlooking the San Fernando Valley.

The Yellow Pages then made their way to the central stage, presenting the award for best group to the Cowsills of Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer Records.
