NEW ORLEANS (AP) - It was hard to get away with much on tour in the 1960s and '70s for The Cowsills, because their mom was in the group. Bob Cowsill says even if they could get past Mom, nobody got past Dad. Susan Cowsill says the trouble they got into was pretty innocent - generally involving ice machines and room service, or as Paul Cowsill remembers, "Grilled cheese-eating contests." The Cowsills will be on this summer's Happy Together tour with Jay and the Americans, The Turtles, The Association, The Vogues and Badfinger featuring Joey Molland. The Cowsills also were inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame this past weekend.
