Barbara Cowsill, 56, one of the members of the 1960s soft-rock band the Cowsills, died Thursday at her Tempe, Ariz., home after a long illness. Between 1967-70, the Cowsills recorded several hit songs including "The Rain, the Park and Other Things," "Indian Lake," "We Can Fly," plus the title song for the rock musical "Hair."
