The Blue Shadows: Lucky To Me - Columbia/Sony Music - This Canadian quartet conjures up many images with their second career album. Sometimes, they remind one of contemporary units like Blue Rodeo and The Proclaimers. At other times, their nostalgic sound takes one back to the early days of The Beatles or, sometimes vintage Creedence Clearwater Revival. The one act most recalled, though, is The Everly Brothers. This is largely by virtue of the incredible vocal locking between Bill Cowsill and Jeffrey Hatcher. A group that combines elements of country, pop and rock, The Blue Shadows display great potential in both their native Canada and beyond with this album full of surefire hits.
