Twelfth Night an outrageous chuckle-fest

Most of us know it as Twelfth Night. However, the full title of Shakespeare’s popular comedy is Twelfth Night Or What You Will.
Kaleidoscope Theatre has taken the “what you will” sentiment to heart with a 1960s Haight-Ashbury-meets-Swinging-London reworking of the paly, courtesy of director Leslie D. Bland.

Elsewhere the cast cavorts to obscure spy movie music or kitschy pop hits like the Cowsillls’ The Rain, The Park and Other Things (a guilty confession: I just love that tune, if fact, I’m playing my copy as I write this).
