Please tell me all about the Cowsills. - B. W.
They consist of two parents - Bud and Barbara - and seven children - Bill, Bob, Barry, John, Dick, Paul and Susan. They all live in a 22-room Charles Addams-type mansion in Newport, R.I. Bill, 19; Bob, 18; Barry, 13, and John, 11, do the singing and playing. Their mother lends harmony when needed. Their professional career started recently when they didn't have a penny to their names and the mortgage on their home was being foreclosed. They visited New York and miraculously were signed by MGM. "The Rain, the Park, and Other Things" is their first hit.
