The Cowsills create a solid contemporary vocal group sound in their new "recorded live" album for MGM Records. All of the songs are of recent vintage. Some of them may be with us for a long time. Included is the most intelligible version of "Hair" which I've heard. "Monday, Monday," "The Sunshine Of Your Love," "Paperback Writer" and "Reach Out" are also given effective readings.
