The Cowsills are Hugh Downs’ guests Monday, Feb. 26 when NB C’s “Today” show salutes this talented singing family in an hour-long special. Barbara Cowsill and her kids will sing their two current hits, “The Rain, the Park and Other Things” and “We Can Fly,” which have sold over a million records since their first appearance on the show. They made their national debut on “Today” in September, 1964, after a writer from the show heard them sing in their home town, Newport, R.I.
