January 25, 1969: comedian Fred Smoot and the singing family sensation The Cowsills are featured in the Winter Carnival Show. The show ends a week of Winter Carnival celebrations including Winter Carnival Queen Coronation, the intersociety Olympics and a beard-growing contest.
