Festival's Tent Shows Begin With Cowsills Family Tonight

The Barnum Festival society takes over operation of the Festival tent theater in Seaside park tonight for an 11-day stand of entertainment events which are part of the 20th annual Barnum Festival.
It will be the Festival's second season in the tent which the Barnum Festival society erected last June and then presented to the City of Bridgeport at the end of the 1967 Festival.
Tonight's Festival opener will be a production by the Cowsills, a family entertainment group which has risen to musical fame in less than three years of professional engagements. Showtime is 8:30 p.m.
