Susan Cowsill
GROWN UP POP: She went from ‘60s pop moppet in the family band the Cowsill to a 10-year stint with Southern pop-rock troubadours the Continental Drifters. After all these years, she’s finally putting out her first solo album, “Just Believe It,” which will get a national release in mid-October (Cowsill has been selling it online and at shows). It’s a fine album that shows off her sweetly gruff voice, and she manages to do right by Sandy Denny’s poignant folk-rock meditation “Who Know s Where Time Goes.”
