The Cowsills, a musical family often described as a new dimension in entertainment today will appear in person at the Storrowton Theatre Tent in West Springfield for two performances on Saturday, Sept 11.
The Cowsills will give performances at 2 and 4 p.m. It is the first time in three years that the fair has utilized the Theatre Tent for a special booking. The Cowsills also will participate in the Governors’ Command Performance Saturday night, Sept. 13, at 7:30. They will join Anita Bryant, comedian Billy Kelly, and singer Louie Roberts as headliners in the Coliseum show.
The Cowsill corporation reads as follows: Bob, Barry, Dick and John Cowsill – comprising the nucleus of the group. Their mini-mommy, Barbara Cowsill, lands her sweet, clear voice to the boys’ harmony whenever it is needed and wherever they might go. There is also a Cowsill baby, Susan, and Bud Cowsill, who, like any father would be, is stuck with the job of coordinating the conglomeration.
