“Supa Heat” the hot young rock group from New York, appearing at The Cannery, has played in studio sessions with sever big stars, including the Cowsills, Everly Brothers and Neil Sadaka. Originally named the “Shaggy Boys,” the band was renamed “Supa Heat” one warm night when smoke began pouring from guitarist Vinny Mitchell’s over-healed amplifier. The first time was an accident.
