SPENCER, Iowa – Special Al Hirt, the Cowsills and Kitty Wells top the list of performers scheduled to appear at eight stage shows during the Clay County Fair Sept 6 through 13.

The afternoon and evening show Sept 8 at the 52-year-old fair is designed especially for teenagers and young adults. The Cowsills, a hit-recording group, headline the show which also features the North Door Singers, the Guild and comedian Stu Gillam.
