Thanks to Janet Byrnes of the Dellview Hot Diggity, San Antonio's high school journalists got their own press conference with the Cowsills.
Janet, who is 11 and the daughter of Mrs. Lorena Byrnes, 2515 Clara Lane, is a front page reporter for the Dellview Elementary School newspaper.
The first issue of the Hot Diggity rolled off the presses Wednesday.
Janet decided it needed something.
Like a good interview with a top music star. Like Barry Cowsill.
So she called the Light. And the press conference was scheduled.
About 40 Alamo City school writers showed up at the Convention Center. Janet was on the front row.
With a coup like that in the sixth grade, she may win a Pulizer before she gets out of high school.
