A HIT WHEREVER they appear, the Cowsills will "do their thing" at the big Light Auto Show.

Barry Cowsill, youngest male member of the popular family singing group, The Cowsills, who will be appearing nightly at the San Antonio Light International Auto Show, March 2-7 at the Convention Center Arena, has been auditioned for a role in an upcoming John Wayne movie.

Bud, Cowsill, Barry's father and manager of the group, revealed that the young performer is being considered for the part.

WAS CONSIDERED

"Barry was one of several youngsters considered for the part and we don't know yet whether or not he will be selected," the elder Cowsill said.

"Naturally Barry is excited about the possibility - as are all of us. Each of the kids have plans to expand their horizons beyond playing in the group. Maybe Barry's destiny is to become an actor," Cowsill added. "At least it will be a great experience for him and will add another dimension to his personality."

"Of course, he has to get the part first," he said.

DODGE SHERIFF

The Cowsills, along with Joe Higgins, the Dodge safety sheriff, a complete line up of foreign, imported and domestic automobiles, hot rods, racers, motor homes, classic and custom cars plus a variety of automotive accessories will be at the Convention Center Arena for six full days during The Light's second annual show.
