George Kirby is best known as an impressionist, but the "real George Kirby" is a versatile entertainer, a comic, raconteur, singer, pianist and dialectician. Kirby, well-known to TV audiences and a tremendious success at some of the largest state fairs, will head an outstanding array of entertainers at the 48th Annual Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, August 25-30.
Sharing the spotlight with George Kirby will be the Cowsills, the remarkable singing group comprised of Barbara Cowsill, her five sons and daughter, Susie. With their many TV appearances plus concert dates and popular albums, The Cowsills are one of the hottest properties in show business today. The Cowsills will be at the Fair for two evening shows Wednesday, Aug. 27. Georg Kirby will follow with one performance on Thursday night.
