Jerry Parker is making his acting debut with the Cherokee Civic Theatre in the roll of "Doc" in Beth Henley's Crimes of the Heart.
A resident of Rusk, Parker is married and has two children.
In the early 1970s, Parker traveled with such recording artists as Patti Page, Lou Rawls, The Brother's Four, Cowsills, Jeanie C. Riley and Tony Betten. A guitarist and singer in his own right, Parker accepted the challenged of this his first role in community theatre.
