Recording Co. Signs Cowsills

Four Middletown youths, who have performed in the Newport area and throughout New England and the East in the past year, have signed contracts as recording artists and songwriters.

The are the Cowsills - Bill 17, Bob 15, Barry 10, and John 9, sons of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Cowsill, 611 Indian Ave. All sing and play guitar and drums. Bill and Bob are songwriters. Their contract is with Joda Enterprises of New York City, a production company headed by Johnny Nash, nationally know entertainer.

The Cowsills and their music, some of which they write themselves are known to most high school and college students. They are booked to play at Brown University in April and May. They have had college engagements throughout the East.
