A different treatment on nearly every track lends variety to the 10 pieces the Cowsills do on “IIxII” for MGM (SE4639) and they range from a would-be rock to out and out country.
One called “The Prophecy of Daniel and John the Divine” seems to be a tut-tuting against something, probably sin; but “Silver Threads and Golden Needles” and “Start to Love” are appealing.
